d44221f9c8 Move compiler.h to commonlib
Its spreading copies got out of sync. And as it is not a standard header
but used in commonlib code, it belongs into commonlib. While we are at
it, always include it via GCC's `-include` switch.

Some Windows and BSD quirk handling went into the util copies. We always
guard from redefinitions now to prevent further issues.

ADVICE: (for Remark #2120, ASL_MSG_SERIALIZED_REQUIRED): A named object is
created inside a non-serialized method - this method should be serialized. It is
possible that one thread enters the method and blocks and then a second thread
also executes the method, ending up in two attempts to create the object and
causing a failure.

Use the acpigen_write_method_serialized() to correct the error.

65cbbe77ac arch/x86/acpigen: Fix corner case in _ROM generator
In case the Option ROM isn't a multiple of 4KiB the last buffer was
truncated to prevent a buffer overrun. But tests on nouveau showed
that nouveau expects a buffer that has the requested size and is zero
padded instead.

Always return a buffer with requested size and zero pad the remaining
bytes. Fixes nouveau on Lenovo W520 with Option ROM not being multiple
of 4 KiB.

3e7197a59e acpi: Add support for writing ACPI _PLD structures
This commit adds support for writing ACPI _PLD structures that
describe the physical location of a device to the OS.

This can be used by any device with a physical connector, but is
required when defining USB ports for the OS.

A simple function is provided that generates a generic _PLD
structure for USB ports based on the USB port type.

0a48aee795 arch/x86/acpigen: Add support for interacting with GPIOs
Since reading/toggling of GPIOs is platform-dependent task, provide an
interface with common functions to generate ACPI AML code for
manipulating GPIOs:
1. acpigen_soc_read_rx_gpio
2. acpigen_soc_get_tx_gpio
3. acpigen_soc_set_tx_gpio
4. acpigen_soc_clear_tx_gpio

Provide weak implementations of above functions. These functions are
expected to be implemented by every SoC that uses ACPI. This allows
drivers to easily generate ACPI AML code to interact GPIOs.

83abd81c8a cpu/amd: Add CC6 support
This patch adds CC6 power save support to the AMD Family 15h
support code. As CC6 is a complex power saving state that
relies heavily on CPU, northbridge, and southbridge cooperation,
this patch alters significant amounts of code throughout the
tree simultaneously.

Allowing the CPU to enter CC6 allows the second level of turbo
boost to be reached, and also provides significant power savings
when the system is idle due to the complete core shutdown.
