Stefan Reinauer 16bd789a73 buildgcc: Clean up PATH handling

This puts our installed binaries first in the search path, which is what we
really want.

... and remove some dead code

This is a cross toolchain builder for -elf toolchains (ie. no libc support)

known working:
  i386-elf
  x86_64-elf
  powerpc-elf
  mipsel-elf

known broken:
  alpha-elf
  arm-elf
  powerpc64-elf
