Add a gettimeofday() implementation - it works pretty well, but it drifts a little bit so its not very suitable for keeping time. It works best to track changes in time over small periods of time. This is libpayload, a minimal library to support standalone payloads that can be booted with firmware like coreboot. It handles the setup code, and provides common C library symbols such as malloc() and printf(). Please see the sample/ directory for an example of the payload in action.
